We are very excited to bring in the Spring Season with the opening of Burger Bar Beijing! Chef just returned from the Beijing launch and was thrilled. Located at No.9, Dongdaqiao Road, Chaoyang Dist. Beijing, the impressive jade-green building can’t be missed! The luring green color extends its glow inside the structure of the building, highlighting the Hotel Eclat and an amazing shopping mall. Burger Bar, of course, will be recognized by its usual Black and Red design. Executive Chef Brandon, who is from Texas and has spent the last five years in Beijing, will be in charge of the 18 person kitchen staff and will oversee all aspects of the menu.

We embrace our new team in Beijing and welcome them to the Burger Bar family.

Top Chef Cruise Icon

The First Top Chef Cruise set sail in April… it was a one of a kind culinary vacation experience aboard the modern & luxurious Celebrity Constellation. HK did some demos, a quick fire challenge, an interactive Q&A and even DJ’d for the guests. It was very cool to meet all the fans from Top Chef and to interact with them. Maybe we will see you on the next cruise!

Secrets of a Chef

Currently,we are filming Season 4 of Secrets of a Chef, sponsored by Cuisinart, and a Marjorie Poore Production. HK is setting up the kitchen at PBS Las Vegas and will be featuring his favorite recipes. He has emptied our home kitchen so he can use the china…I guess we’ll be eating on the set!

Back in SF downtown, swing by The Starlight Room on Thursday evening, the 6th of June…and meet us on the dance floor as Chef Keller will spin his favorite “House-Beats” and will be accompanied by our GM Marcus from Fleur de Lys on the sax.  It promises to be a blast!
